Internship in the Data Department

The Edenred Digital Center (EDC) in Bucharest, Romania is Edenred Group's largest Digital hub for strategic #tech projects.

Candidates will also have to demonstrate:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or similar field (a Master’s is a plus)
Knowledge on SQL and NoSQL
Math and statistics knowledge

Would be a plus, but not mandatory:

Knowledge on a reporting tool (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS…)
Some knowledge of Agile Product Management
Some knowledge of Azure or Cloud solutions

You will also have to demonstrate:

Good communication skills, listening & understanding, flexibility & teamwork
Problem solving mindset, numerical and analytical skills
Simplicity: autonomy & resourcefulness
Proficiency in English

You will work together with senior data specialists and scientists in helping with the next:

identifying data sources, data processing concepts and methods
harvesting structured and unstructured data, building models to test hypothesis
integrating, consolidating, cleansing, migrating and converting data
ensuring appropriate storage of data in line with relevant legislation
spark for the processing, based on usage of Databricks clusters & Synapse
automate and monitor models
building business presentations with data visualizations
performing exploratory data analysis.

In term of organization, our future Intern will be in a team of various data profiles: Data Engineers using SQL, Power BI tools, Data DevOps or Data Scientists … More senior profiles will check closely the deliverables.

The profile will be under the direct management of a team leader who has the responsibility to ensure that projects and applications are managed in an appropriate manner. The position location will be within the Edenred Digital Center, Bucharest Romania.
