    Data Scientist (Fixed Term 2 years) Role Profile The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), is a leading provider of business and financial information on public and private companies globally. With advanced data collection services, cloud-based applications, desktop analytics and print products, we incorporate value added tools such as Models, Analytics and Data Tools. For LSEG Romania based in Bucharest, we are currently recruiting for two short term positions in our ISG Analytics team. The role blends quantitative modeling, interaction within various groups in the team and product management. Will support our Modeling Automation initiative for the next year and a half. We are looking for individuals with very high attention to detail, analytical skills, and who can work under strict delivery timelines.Job Description The Yield Book team is looking to hire two data scientists to help develop and deliver on the on-going initiatives. In this role, you will plan and coordinate the analytical and operational steps needed to develop and establish high-impact tools and processes, working alongside an integrated team of professionals across the company. Your responsibilities will include reviewing financial documents, processing and analysing datasets with the purpose of obtaining meaningful analytics. In addition, you will develop new solutions and ideas for automating the model-generating internal processes. Responsibilities Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques. Develop processes and tools that turn raw data into usable products. Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify business opportunities. Provide support post-release for the initiatives that exist into production: bugfixes, tool enhancements. Propose new and innovative methods for improving already-existing processes. Requirements Experienced in Python development. Experienced creating and using machine learning models for training/testing. Experienced with Natural Language Processing techniques. Analytical thinking, good problem-solving skills, thinking outside of the box. Has knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts. Has basic knowledge of Linux environments and commands. Has Knowledge of database querying techniques.
