We are searching for a Back-end Java Developer to welcome a new challenge and join an ambitious and dynamic team dedicated to simplifying the financial activity of the entrepreneurs.

Our business partner developed the first business ecosystem in Romania including efficient solutions for invoicing, inventory management, and accounting. They have an extensive market coverage, which brings a constant need to keep a high level of quality and to focus on improvement.

Requirements

At least 2+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java programming (Java2EE);
Hands-on experience in deployment of functionalities;
JPA, EclipseLink and RESTful Web Services experience;
Experience with SQL, with a preference for PostgreSQL;
Previous experience with AWS, GitHub and TeamCity;
Previous contact with Glassfish / Payara on server side;
Good communications skills and focus on working together with the team;
Ability to prioritize and manage self time-management;
Interest in learning new things and engagement to constant improvement.

Responsibilities

Work on concepts and architecture based on Java;
Be responsible for the planning, development, and operation of web applications for the company's products;
Work on a product that has reached a level of maturity and has a high number of users (still increasing), which comes with complexity;
Contribute to maintaining and increasing the performance of existing applications;
Focus on optimizing the product in terms of features and functionalities;
Work in a dynamic industry which requires constant adaptations and compliance;
Be part of a team eager to work together, find solutions and bring on quality to the products.

You will have the flexibility to work full remote or in a hybrid work setting.
