Application Developer (C/C++)

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced software development and maintenance functions for the Yield Book analytics and FTSE Russell Fixed Income Indices;

Design and develop software solutions in C/C++ for data management and analytics; Solve challenged data production issues and implement fixes;

Integrate complex data models and provide technical support to analytics and index business;

Engaged in the communications with product management and data vendors on technical data requirements;

Conduct detailed data analysis using a wide variety of sources and tools to verify accuracy of fixed income data and update when necessary;

Research new global data requirements and maintain existing database of data sources;

Collaborate with index development team to streamline existing processes.


Required Skills and Behaviours

Programming skills in C/C++ (1-2 years);

Programming skills in Shell scripting;

Good database and stored procedure skills;

Working experience with UNIX/Linux environment;

Great verbal and written communication skills;

Highly motivated and responsive and able to work as a team member and independently.
