    Purpose

    Supports Senior HR manager with the delivery of an integrated, comprehensive HR service to the local site. Builds and leverages external and internal networks to facilitate well informed business decisions and good practices. Plan, develop, implement and promote activities and programs that enhance overall employee engagement and relations while overseeing the compliance of company employment policies and practices with relevant employment regulations.

    Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

    • identify and drive programs to foster constructive employee relations and ensure the organizations' approach to its employees is fair, respectful and consistent in alignment with the Group approach
    • gather, analyse and interpret data and metrics to develop recommendations and strategies to facilitate positive employee relations and engagement
    • identify risks and challenges to the employee relationship
    • reduce risks by developing/adapting programs, policies and procedures to promote fair and equitable employee relations and business decisions
    • evaluate and improve existing HR practices to introduce new perspectives, trends and processes
    • ensure employment policies and practices comply with relevant local employment regulations
    • oversee the application of workplace policies and procedures in the site
    • assist and advise managers on employee relations, act as point of contact on fundamental HR issues and questions
    • partner with HR BP and CoEs on complex employee relations issues
    • provide guidance and counsel to employees on employee relations issues and workplace practices
    • receive, evaluate and respond appropriately to employee concerns
    • conduct investigations of complaints and recommend corrective actions
    • deal with complex cases, oversee, review and advise on employee grievance and disciplinary processes
    • respond to, manage and resolve conflict
    • oversee employee consultations
    • monitor employment contract negotiations and administration
    • stay current with employee relations trends, regulations and legal requirements

    Education, Qualifications and Experience

    • Degree or equivalent. Relevant vocational qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations or related field is considered a plus
    • solid working knowledge of the principles and practices of employee and labour relations
    • in-depth knowledge and application of local labour and employment law and regulations
    • demonstrable experience in developing and executing programs that measurably impact positive employee relations
    • MS Office applications
    • Proficient in English
    • Significant stakeholder management experience is required
