Senior System Architect for Smart Mobility (TM)

As a System Architect you will be involved in the development of concepts/system in the Business Unit Smart Mobility for the location Timisoara.

As a System Architect you will be:

* Analyzing customer and/or internal system requirements and creating a system integration plan;
* Defining system architecture, with the support of discipline architects (or experts);
* Creating and maintaining system architecture documents and system integration documents;
* Decomposing requirements to sub-system level and providing intake system test specification;
* Defining system internal interworking requirements on sub-system level;
* Defining system integration test plan;
* Defining Hardware-Software Integration Plan and Test Plan;
* Involved in the definition of V2X communication;
* Involved in the definition of FOTA, Networking, Power Management, Diagnosis, Ethernet concepts;
* Involved in homologation activities: defining homologation related features and supporting homologation team;
* Participating actively in knowledge transfer when applicable;
* Providing support to system requirement engineer to elicit functional and non-functional stakeholder requirements for automotive products;
* Involved in the decision-making process based on time-cost-quality rationale.

Job Requirements:

Your skills:

* University degree in computer science, electrical engineering or software engineering or equivalent technical discipline;
* At least 5 years of professional experience in product development, preferably in embedded software, system verification and validation and/or electronic for automotive application;
* Medium to high level of understanding of software and electronics;
* Basic know-how mechanic and industrialization process;
* Familiar with requirements management & application lifecycle management tool;
* Very good verbal and written communication skills in English;
* Travel readiness;
* Good knowledge of CAN communication rules and network management.

Would be a plus:

* Sound knowledge of Ethernet communication rules and network management;
* Medium to high know-how of Linux, AUTOSAR and inter processor communication;
* Experience in the design of cellular communication solutions(4G, 5G);
* Experience in the design of GPS positioning solutions (receiver design);
* Experience in the design of of wireless communication solutions (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth);
* Knowledge of following standards: ISO 21434, SAE J3061, ISO 26262, UNECE R.155 and their application in the development of Automotive Embedded Systems.
