System Engineer - Engineering Quote Manager for AM (TM)

As an EQM you will be responsible for leading of the technical quote activities for assisted and partly Autonomous Mobility products and connected ECUs, subcomponents (Radar, Camera, Ultrasonic und Lidar) as well as Software and Function products (e.g. Cruising, Safety, Parking) up to G30 milestone.

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

* Conduct the team for an alignment on overall system architectures based on customer and/or market requirements including requirement management with regards to functions, safety, performance and costs;
* You will be responsible for submission of all relevant work products for technical offer approval;
* You will be responsible for engineering effort estimation together with the discipline leaders considering the given targets;
* Coordinate the quality assurance and preparation of internal and external work products according system engineering principles;
* Manage the stakeholders and interfaces (Engineering, Sales, Program-Management, Controlling, Production and Purchasing);
* Perform continuous improvement of the technical quote process in alignment with the regional teams.

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

Job Requirements:
This is what it takes to be a successful Technical Project Leader:

* University degree (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Automatics) or relevant professional experience;
* Result oriented person with a strong sense of ownership;
* Previous experience in automotive or other relevant fields for at least 3 years;
* At least 1 year of experience in coordinating a discipline team or showing strong leadership or entrepreneurial skills;
* Previous exposure to an international working environment/international project teams for at least 1 year.
