    We are looking for an experience Error Manager to work with us for a smart access product, leading all the customer problem reports through entire process. Every product has his market life, and this product being at it's second generation, is one of the "icebreakers" of a revolutionary vehicle access/start using own smartphone for own car, and much more.... By today, only few cars had such a future, and we all contribute to next generation, always connected, always on. Involved as Error Manager (EM) in the team "Application development" for an electronic product type: Continental Smart Access (COSMA).

    The EM is responsible for the following activities:



    * Main interface to the customer for highest priority errors across disciplines;
    * Receive and track errors found by customer or internally;
    * Decide together with the team on an analysis method / path of action;
    * Communicate the action plan and time schedule for issue solving to customer and internal stakeholders;
    * Track and report on the progress of issues;
    * Create management summaries (e.g. Powerpoint slides) when necessary;
    * Help to overcome obstacles (e.g. in communication across disciplines, projects and companies);
    * Organize debug sessions on the customer cars (on site or remote).


    Job Requirements:



    * Detailed knowledge about the product architecture, especially SW architecture;
    * Knowledge about structured problem solving (e.g. Ishikawa diagram);
    * Excellent communication skills on technical and management level;
    * Ability to learn fast;
    * Ability to represent Continentals interests in front of customer management;
    * Focused, independent, and structured working style
    * Background in SW development is helpful;
    * Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering (e.g. Software, Electrical Eng.). Alternative: Bachelor or Master with appropriate experience;
    * At least 3 years in the automotive or (consumer) electronics industry, preferable in a variety of functions;
    * Several years of work experience in preferably two technical fields, e.g. Software, System, ... and experience in project management; managed at least one discipline work product into a project.
