    Qualifications

    • You have a Bachelor or Master`s degree in Computer Science, Automation Electronics and Telecommunications, Informatics, Mathematics or comparable
    • You have at least 2 years of experience in Software Development for Embedded Systems on COM components
    • You have experience with C/C++ for programming micro-controllers
    • Communication protocols are well known to you
    • You know Software Development Principles (V-Model, Agile, Configuration Management Requirements Management etc.)
    • You are eager to work with the newest automotive technologies, understand complex systems and shape the behavior of future cars
    • You are proactive and you adapt easily to a new development environment, but do not worry, we will be there every step of the way, supporting each other
    • You are a team player, and offering and receiving feedback comes naturally
    • You take ownership of projects and tasks, and you are not afraid to think outside the box and try to find creative approaches to your challenges
    • English language at a proficient level is mandatory

    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a proactive engineer to fill the role of COM Software Development Engineer for our ADAS Software department.

    As a COM Software Developer, you will work on developing customer-specific solutions for assisted and automated driving, for niche car manufacturers (exclusive cars like sports - and super sports cars, electric cars, cars for start-ups). Our products (Front Video Camera and Radar Systems) ensure comfortable and safe driving. Our direct and close collaboration with the customers covers all stages of engineering - from design study to volume production.

    You will analyze customer requirements, create design documentation, implement logic, perform design and implementation reviews, and support test engineering with the creation and execution of test cases.

    In your role you will:

    • Be responsible for requirements engineering, including requirements evaluation and alignment with customer
    • Create detailed Design, code and run module testing on COM module
    • Reuse and adapt existing SW (where applicable)
    • Deliver the committed work package within the agreed time and quality
    • Proactively communicate delays or problems occurred during development
    • Conduct reviews (requirements, design, code, module test)
    • Fix anomalies discovered during development
    • Work closely with Requirements Owners / Project Managers to develop quality test cases
    • Follow the defined software development processes, while proactively pushing to improve and streamline all areas of the process.
