Intern in Financial Services Audit

What we are looking for

Experience:

-Students in the last year of studies or fresh graduates in accounting, finance and banking, math or technology; or
-People with short past experience in accounting, banking or insurance (but not only);

Soft skills:

-Strong organizational, time management, communication and analytical skills;
-Enthusiastic, demonstrate “can do” and “team working” attitude with an ability to learn quickly; and
-Seek feedback on your personal performance and areas for improvement.

Other skills:

-Good computer skills (Microsoft Office tools);
-Fluency in English;
-Accounting and auditing skills are a plus.

The role:

- fixed term contract 8 months or until the end of April 2023 -

We as financial auditors verify through audit procedures the companies' trial balance and financial statements, using innovative auditing methodology and we give assurance to stakeholders that the financial statements of our clients are true and fair. We also provide accounting advice with regards to Romanian accounting principles, International Financial Reporting Standards and other accounting regulations.


As an Intern in our FS audit team you will:

-Participate in the financial auditing projects under the supervision and coordination of the team manager;
-Perform audit procedures for the assigned financial statements line items from the client’s financial statements (areas tested include Cash and cash equivalents, Accounts receivable, Accounts Payable, Loans and advances to customers, Deposits due to customer, Salary expense, Operating expenses and many others);
-Perform observation over the inventory/cash counts organized by our clients;
-Prepare additional analytical procedures over the audited financial statements line items;
-Assist the other senior members of the team with the review of the financial statements of the client;
-Complete work allocated to you by team members within agreed deadlines; and
-Collaborate with the other team members of the audit team and our shared delivery centers in order to ensure that the audit procedures are finalized on time.
