With these skills you are a great candidate:
• Multi-year experience working in Telco or IT industry
• Detailed understanding of SIP protocol, SSL, TCP/IP, SNMP and Oracle DB.
• Very good knowledge of Linux (RedHat) and SUSE Enterprise.
• Good knowledge of mobile network architectures 2G/3G/5G, VoLTE, operating virtualized Applications with experience in main vendor technologies (i.e. from VCE, Dell, VMware or Cisco).
• Good knowledge in analyse and interpret traces (Wireshark traces, network element traces, logs).
• Hands on experience with SIP-Trunking Solutions (i.e. from ATOS) or from the direct Interfaces like SBC, CSCF.
• Team working oriented
• Good communication skills
• English (spoken and written)
• Good understanding and listening of the German language (to be able to follow team meetings), the speaking skills could be less good. The candidate will then receive trainings afterwards to enhance his skills.
• University degree: faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Ansible) desirable
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:
• In case of incident, assure trouble shooting analysis and all the repair actions, including vendor support escalation, in order to achieve service and performance restoration.
• Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and constantly optimize the network, e.g. Daily Walkthroughs and Health checks for service and applications/platforms.
• Solve network related Customer Complaints within SLA. Tracing and debugging on SIP-Trunking Solutions or on direct Interfaces like SBC, CSCF.
• Knowledge sharing in order to increase technical skills of other teams involved in deployment and operations activities in the network. Introduce and manage cutting edge technologies including vendor and on the job training.
• Assure planned work activities and upgrade of service and platforms functionalities. Onboarding and implementation of Service requests ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on functionalities.
