Supplier Quality Manager for Architecture & Networking (TM)

You will represent the suppliers in the project team by linking the project requirements to the Corporate Supplier Quality Management (SQM) organization. Do you want to be a AN SQM? These should spark your interest: Project Management:

* Align planning with Advanced Purchaser with regards to supplier release, Supplier Component Review, nomination etc;
* Ensure early involvement of SQM and suppliers;
* Coordinate with SQM management to ensure SQM Component Introduction Manager is assigned to each new component;
* Drive component introduction within the customer and development projects;
* Initiate corrective actions (e.g. escalation) in case the project schedule or component quality requirements cannot be met;
* Provide feedback by experts about requirements fulfilment of supplied components;
* Manage cross-functional clarification if needed;
* Support project safe launch;
* Support supplier related alerts in make market phase. Supplier Selection:
* Ensure availability of Component Maturity Evaluation and updates from project team;
* Identify missing or not up-to-date audits / General Quality Agreement & request (re)-audit/completion from responsible SQM;
* Track and support execution of Supplier Component Review (SCR);
* Support in-time sourcing of feasible suppliers with decisions signed according signature rules. Component Introduction:
* Support in-time releases of new components;
* Facilitate the hand-over from SQM Component Introduction towards SQM Make Market. Performance & Reporting:
* Regular update of Component Introduction Status;
* To feedback continuously Supplier Qualification status from SQM towards project team;
* Provide regular report to Business Area SQM Manager;
* Support incident reduction;
* Support SQM Indicators for the region (e.g. Part Submission Warrant on time);
* Support supplier alerts for the region;
* Self-driven to coordinate and resolve dynamic supplier quality issues. Lessons Learnt:
* Promote Lessons Learned within BU and SQM (related to component introduction, component specification, supplier selection, technology experience, Make market issues to be retrofitted in development phase).

Job Requirements:

This is what it takes to be a successful Supplier Quality Manager:

* Degree in engineering (e.g. Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) with at a minimum of 5 years' experience in the automotive industry;
* Good experience and knowledge about project management, quality system and tools;
* Experience in working with international teams on quality, engineering, operation or supply chain;
* Able to lead/facilitate process and method improvements;
* Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of colleagues, departments and institutes, inside and outside company;
* Knowledge about engineering (electronic and or mechanical) prefer experience in automotive industry;
* Advanced English (Fluent, written and spoken).
