Category Purchaser for Product Related Licenses (TM)

* leading negotiation with key suppliers for the assurance of optimal value and acquisition on usage rights of Intellectual Property (for example Licensing on Patents, Software, Data);
* Responsible for contractual agreements and price negotiations for medium to large volumes;
* Working with cross-functional teams, including Project, R&D and Engineering including Advanced Purchasing colleagues;
* Working in close cooperation with Corporate and Business Units in the deployment of strategic purchasing strategies;
* Developing, enhancing and leveraging of strategic and key supplier relationships;
* Managing of suppliers via periodic business review process with strategic suppliers;
* Developing and executing of commodity and procurement strategies.

Job Requirements:

This is what it takes to be a successful in Category Purchasing for Product Related Licences:

* Academic Degree in Electronics, Software or Computer engineering or a comparable qualification;
* Knowledge of software license purchase will be an advantage;
* Experience in negotiating contracts or agreements will be preferred;
* Highly interested in commodity management or a purchasing role in a manufacturing environment;
* Team player with proven influencing and collaboration skills to work effectively across functions;
* Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of people;
* Interest in negotiation skills and a proven track record in negotiation;
* Fluent English language skills (written and spoken), German language knowledge is a plus.
