Email Marketing Manager, Global Email & Database Marketing

Function: Email Marketing Reports To: Director Database Marketing Veeam is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to work in lockstep with our Global Campaigns team, to plan, develop and run email marketing campaigns end-to-end and to manage email databases & segmentation strategies to generate demand and meet campaign targets.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns that drive demand for Veeam's global marketing campaigns and programs

• Proactively report on email results, database health, and sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts

• Conduct ongoing A/B tests of all aspects of the email strategy (subject lines, copy, frequency, time of day/week, etc.) and communicate the results of these tests through reporting

• Develop data-driven insights and make recommendations for improvement

• Create email databases for lead generation, identify target audiences and grow email lists, monitor & optimize email campaigns for engagement/conversion

• Maintain an up-to-date calendar for your owned email campaigns & work with regional counterparts to fit your emails into regional planning and execution calendars

• Be a resource for cross functional teams on best practices running email campaigns

Requirements

To Be Successful You Will Need to Have:

• Bachelor's Degree required in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline. (A combination of education and experience will be considered)

• 2-5 years of B2B Marketing Automation, CRM database management and/or Email Marketing is required; Marketo & Salesforce are preferred

• Knowledge of email best practices including subject lines, messaging, segmentation, list management, and deliverability

• Proven track record of driving demand through targeted email campaigns and nurture program

• Understanding of privacy laws including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, TCPA and other email/SMS compliance regulations

• Familiarity with analytical and database tools

• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and thoughtful QA process

• Ability to map out plans with the help of visuals/flowcharts to translate technical workflows to business stakeholders

• Fluent English, with excellent communication and writing skills

• Experience in working with geographically and culturally diverse teams is a plus
