    Job Description:

    As BU Solution Owner you are responsible for a complete and consistent package (solution) of processes, methods and related tools in the fields of BU Solution Owner Configuration and Variant Management on business unit level. This includes its definition, adaptation, deployment and maintenance. In more detail you would be responsible for the following activities: Represent BU PSS in Automotive Solution Definition Teams and Release Trains:

    * Act as counterpart to the respective solution owner(s) on automotive level (he[a]t);
    * Consolidate and represent needs of BU in automotive solution definition teams;
    * Evaluate central decisions for impact/ risk and align with BU segments;
    * Secure state of the art processes, methods and tools;
    * Challenge and improve processes, methods and tool strategies with novel ideas; Adapt and Configure Common Automotive Solutions for BU PSS Products/Projects:
    * Lead BU PSS solution community with; representatives from segments, key users and tool administrators;
    * Coordinate the refinement of standard concepts;
    * Have BU processes and methods updated;
    * Define and track BU deployment plan;
    * Mitigate identified business risks of new solution releases;
    * Define training strategy and provide suitable material; Deploy and Maintain Solution Set-up for BU PSS:
    * Plan and coordinate transition from project into managed solution on business unit level ensuring proper set-up for supporting services (internal and external / e.g. data center, access management systems) and key user organization;
    * Collect data needed for the determination of related KPIs;
    * Represent BU in CCB on automotive level and analyze the business impact of change requests regarding the BU; Foster Knowledge Sharing:
    * Build up and maintain network with automotive and external experts for solution field;
    * Provide internal trainings to share own knowledge in the organization;
    * Drive knowledge sharing; Consulting and Coaching:
    * Consult management and projects in all aspects of solution related processes, methods and tools;
    * Coach segments in application of solution;
    * Channel and track problem reports and change requests.


    Job Requirements:

    * Knowing state of the art engineering methods and respective tools (i.e. Configuration and Variant Management)" ;
    * Advantegeous: Knowledge in IBM Jazz (EWM, Rhapsody ), JIRA, GIT, PTC Windchill and pure variants;
    * Product development process knowledge (from R&D to manufacturing), PLC;
    * Knowledge about relevant standards (i.e. IEEE, Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, Security & Privacy);
    * Presentation and communication to all management levels;
    * Coaching and training skills;
    * Networking / know-how transfer / best practice sharing;
    * Leadership skills;
    * Moderation skills.
