Requirements:
-Previous professional experience in privacy, data protection, data management, data security, risk management, and/or compliance;
-University / Bachelor’s Degree in Law;
-English advanced;
-Ability to transfer data protection concepts into clear recommendations;
-Knowledge of data protection laws and practices
-In-depth understanding of the GDPR;
-Experience in the operational implementation of compliance and audit processes regarding the data protection- a plus;
-Knowledge of CRM and Inbound & Outbound Marketing- nice to have;
-Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail;
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
-Demonstrated ability to work productively and maintain an effective relationship in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams;
-Outcome-focused, and proactive about identifying new opportunities;
-Customer orientation;
-Good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
-Adequate qualification regarding data protection;
Understanding of legal and compliance and knowledge of legal and compliance management processes.

For our client, a global automotive brand (consumer luxury vehicles and commercial vehicles), we are recruiting a Data Protection and Legal Specialist.

We are looking for a highly motivated person to lead the processes related to data management & compliance within the team.

Reporting to the Legal Manager, the Data Protection and Legal Specialist will be overseeing data protection strategy and implementation to ensure compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.

Responsibilities:
-Overseeing all legal aspects in close cooperation with the Legal Managers from the markets;
-Contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations; Manages and oversees the company's commercial contracting purposes, including contract management;
-Monitoring internal compliance and ensuring that the company processes personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws;
-Maintaining comprehensive records of all data processing activities conducted including the purpose of all processing activities, which must be made public on request;
-Collaborating with HQ and Region Europe for the integration of all relevant CRM use cases and customer journeys;
-Support and coordinate the Data Protection requirements;
-Preparing local instructions, if relevant;
-Setting up and updating the assessed processing of data processes in accordance with GDPR requirements;
-Supporting related Data Protection Impact Assessments and Incidents Management;
-Consulting and supporting the business departments on processing on behalf, deletion requirements, privacy by design, privacy by default, information obligations, and other Data Protection topics;
-Assisting with the application of the Compliance Framework for Data Analytics;
-Monitoring of new data (protection) laws and regulations and identification of local implementation needs;
-Dealing with complaints and requests of data subjects;
-Monitoring of data protection measures;
-Preparing, updating, and checking related data protection contracts, as well offering legal assistance in Data protection and GDPR matters;
-Conduct compliance and legal risk assessments, and analyze compliance and legal identified issues.
