Who are you and what kind of soft skills are we looking for?

- Higher education:
Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, installations, automation;
Master degree in the above mentioned areas would be an asset.
- Proven track record of 5+ years of solar operation and maintenance experience including ground and roof mount projects
- In-depth knowledge of National Electrical Code, solar permitting, and other PV system regulatory codes
- In-depth knowledge of the General maneuvering regulations-NTE
- Good knowledge of PV modules, inverters, MV and LV Switchgear, SCADA system and all solar electrical operational equipments.
- Extensive knowledge of renewable energy, instrumentation control systems and in depth knowledge of solar power generation system, and procedures.
- Experience reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents.
- Experience with professional oral and written communication skills

Technical skills:

- Strong knowledge of power engineering and energy efficiency fields;
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations within the power, gas and energy efficiency sectors;
- Advanced user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint,Word);
- Must be able to perform at all project management levels
- Working knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD, PVSyst;
- Good knowledge of legislation on authorization of construction works;
- Advanced English skills;
- Driver's licence;
- ANRE authorization IIIA ,Bwould be an asset

Responsibilities:

- Coordinates and oversees all operations and maintenance activities required on various PV plants (rooftops/ground/carport)
- Develops cost-efective operations and maintenance plans for the PV projects within its portfolio, in line the internal procedures as well as with the contractual requriements agreed with end customers.
- Manages the stock of spare parts and operates in SAP their consumption;
- Performs PV plants and grid down time and failure analysis of all the electrical m/c & instruments
- Minimizes exposure and risk by implementing and audits safety standards and quality assurance controls
- Coordinates work of subcontractors working on various phases of multiple maintenance projects.
- Is responsible for proper administration of operation and maintenance contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
- Is responsible for scheduling and preparation of work programs and their transmission to the approving entity;
- Admits the contractor's teams to the works by creating the specific HSEQ conditions, completes the documents for admission to the work, delimits the work area;
- Completes the work formalities at the completion of the works in the installations;
- Supervises contractors, reviews their reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
- Tracks and controls PV operation and maintenance programs and associated costs
- Reports to line manager about progress and any necessary modifications of operation and maintenance plans that seem indicated.
- Manages day-to-day client interactions and expectations, directly or in a supervisory role
- Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability and operation and maintenance costs
- Manages to and achieves revenue goals set for the O&M activities
- Generates and issues regular internal and external activity reports.
