• Strong technical background (network protocols, operating system, technologies, version control systems)
• Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining test frameworks for back-end and front-end testing;
• Hands on experience with Java 8/11 - OOP (inheritance, interfaces), Stream API, Design patterns (Singleton, Builder, Factory, etc.)
• Hands on experience with Spring Boot Test & TestNG - Dependency Injection, contexts, listeners
• Hands on experience in using test and defects management tools – JIRA, HP ALM
• Hands on experience with Spring Data JPA, JDBC, Oracle SQL
• Hands on experience with SSH - JSch or equivalent (sessions/channels, Exec/Shell/Sftp), Linux
• Hands on experience with API testing - REST Assured, Postman
• Basic knowledge of JAXB (Marshal/Unmarshal), Maven (Maven Surefire Plugin)
• Hands on experience with Selenium (Page Object Model)
• Basic knowledge of Test logging & reporting, Git
• Continuous Integration experience
• Experience working with IT solutions in the banking industry or financial business areas would constitute an advantage;
• Experience in mentored QA Engineers on building on top of automation test systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self Drive, ownership and initiative

• Analyze business and technical requirements and define test automation approach-
• Analyze, design and execute test cases and test scripts
• Report and monitor issues
• Design and implementation of Automation framework, conduct tools selection
• Test Environments design, configuration and maintenance
• Integrate test suites in a Continuous Integration environment
• Oversee the creation and execution of repeatable automated test suites
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to refine automation processes
• Continuously improve, augment and update the automated test suites
• Mentor and coach automation engineers on best practices
• Organize, facilitate and conduct trainings
• Gather and present metrics to relevant stakeholders
