Part Qualified accountant.
Possess good communications skills with ability to interact with all levels of management.

A self starter who can identify options to solve new problems and challenges
SAP and BPC knowledge an advantage.
Business understanding and awareness of other functions and their interface with finance.
Succesful assimilation of processes and individual country Tax / Excise requirements.
Effective management of end markets to ensure accurate and timely excise maintenance in line with individual country tax requirements
Adherance to the governance controls relating to the update of Excise & Pricing

Positively participate in the effective management of Excise and Duty master data updates on behalf of End Markets supported by Exports. Whilst providing support to the Commercial Finance Managers on pricing release .
Maintain Excise & Duty tables
Maintain and update Master Data Categories
Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of each markets Excise regime
Support end markets in calculation of Excise & Duty and provide a critical review of the detailed calculations to ensure correct
Review current Excise set up, instigate new template to standardise current ways of working and improve set up where applicable to leverage efficiencies.
Be the first point of contact in Exports for allocated end markets in relation to Excise & Duty maintainace.
Build a strong network within BAT to ensure that issues can be quickly identified and resolved with relation to price release and excise updates.
Develop a culture of service and delivery, with a view to enhance quality and timeliness of delivery.
Support wider team through knowledge transfer and a flexible approach.
