Junior FullStack Developer – Summer Internship Programme

Finastra are one of the worlds’ largest fintechs and we’re currently hiring FullStack Developers to join our 3-month summer internship programme. This scheme is suited to candidates in their third or final year of study who are looking to get an insight into a FullStack Developer role and we’ll provide you with mentorship and training throughout the programme to help you develop your skills. You’ll need to be able to start the internship in early June and it will last for 12 weeks.

What You’ll Do

FullStack Developers design, develop, analyse and maintain high-quality software product applications . You’ll participate in software design meetings and analyse user needs to determine technical requirements and during the internship you ’ll be responsible for :

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support product releases and solve program issues
• Following the software development lifecycle process to fix issues quickly
• Design and develop high-quality code
• Test, debug, analyse and fix application issues

What You’ll Need

• You’ll have a good understanding of any of the following: NodeJS, JavaScript, PowerShell, Angular 2, Bash or Azure PaaS
• You’ll be passionate about development with some knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle
• You’ll be able to work independently and provide solutions to a variety of technical problems
• You’ll be familiar with RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS or SQL
