Project description:

Wipro is a strategic engineering partner for one of the world’s leading global independent suppliers to the automotive sector, to realize its vision of transforming the future of mobility in partnership with its customers. As part of this agreement, Wipro leverages its strong automotive engineering expertise to establish a software engineering factory and expedite launch of cutting-edge technologies on connectivity and sustainable mobility solutions.

We work on multiple projects around: Electronics (including HMI, Telematics & Infotainment, Body Electronics, ADAS), Automotive Lighting and Powertrain.

Tasks / responsibilities:

• Implement detailed software architecture according to Functional Architect design specifications

• Implement and drive software interfaces between functions and software components

• Build (compile and generate) the executable file-set to be uploaded and run on simulated and target engine control units

• Glue code design according to project-specific needs

• Configure and integrate BSW modules and Application SWCs, starting from requirements and constraints related to Software Architecture

• In case of an AUTOSAR compliant project, integrate SWCs through AUTOSAR RTE

• Review software parts designed by 3rd parties

• Design the integration tests of the built software according to software architecture qualification criteria

• Perform the software integration tests on the integrated software

• Issue software integration reports

• Achieve software build file-set formal quality targets defined in the software quality plan

• Measure and monitor software build static and dynamic metrics

• Contribute to the optimization of microprocessor resources usage

• Measure and monitor the consumption of resources

• Design the partitioning of resources among software parts

• Guarantee a clean and traceable SW configuration and versioning

• Be responsible for problem solving activities together with software team

Requirements / Candidate’s profile strong knowledge:

• AUTOSAR Software Architecture standards

• Software architecture and SW development principles and practices (focus on multicore and • ISO-26262 platform)

• Real Time Embedded Systems

• C language

• Microcontroller Knowledge

• Vector AUTOSAR Toolchain (MICROSAR Environment)

• English Language (at least B2 level)

Good Knowledge:

• Linux environment

• Make file and Linker script

Nice to have:

• ISO 15765, ISO 21434, UNECE WP29, ISO26262, ETAS INCA and ASAP2 standard Skills

• Proactive and flexible approach

• Autonomy and problem-solving attitude

• Logical reasoning and troubleshooting

Personality traits:

• Ability to work in an international and distributed team and to effectively share information/ideas

• Ability to work in an autonomous way, by finding solutions even with lack of information

• Ability to work on simultaneous projects and to meet concurrent deadlines Education

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Electronic/Computer Engineering
