This is 2 years challenging, fascinating path of personal and professional development filled with diversified job rotations, trainings and adventures, each one crafted to develop the future leaders of ING.

Requirements

• Master studies or degree from top universities (Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, Finance);
• Excellent study results;
• Maximum 2 working years’ experience;
• Fluent in English;
• Leadership or volunteering activities;
• International experience is an advantage;
• Understanding & views on economic landscape & banking industry.

Responsibilities

The Finance Track of the ING International Talent Programme prepares you for a role that is of vital importance to our company. Our Finance team represents a strategic partner for our management team. Your activity will involve analyzing the past and forecasting the future. Also, we count on you to provide the advice that enables us to take the right decisions for sustainable success.

You will be given serious responsibility from day one. In your first project, you will become acquainted with the core activities of Finance through a role within, for example, Financial Accounting, you will lay a good foundation and the first building block for your future career.

You will carry out your second project, for example, in the field of Management Accounting. It is then your job to analyze the possibilities and costs of a product. You act as a sparring partner for the senior management team and provide them with important strategic information to substantiate choices.

After this year you will start working in a permanent position, where you will further expand your knowledge. Your personal preferences and interests are an important starting point. For example, you can work in a team of Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, or on a team at corporate level of Capital Management or Finance Bank Treasury. From that moment on, you are really in control of your career and development.

What we offer

* Global events. Access to yearly 2-3 weeks global events with other ING International Talent Programme talents from all around the world (you will mainly be in Bucharest in the first 18 months).
* Job rotations. Insights in various business units during the first 18 months and work abroad into one of our ING countries for 3 - 6 months. (if circumstances allow)
* International onboarding. Following your local onboarding introduction, you will fly to our headquarters in Amsterdam for a two week-long international onboarding event. (if circumstances allow)
* Trainings & learning experiences in different business lines to boost your knowledge and skill set.
* Mentoring. Experienced ING executives will support your personal and professional development through regular feedback and coaching.
* Specialized job. After 18 months of job rotations, you will start in your first dedicated assignment in Finance.
