Liaise with clients at all levels on your areas of focus
Hold interviews and write up reports
Have a relevant certification – CISSP, CISA or CISM (ISO27001 is a plus)

As most consultants go, you also need to:

Speak and write English
Think of solutions for clients and put them into proposals

Your background could be:

Former IT auditor, willing to make a change
Security officer, wanting to gain exposure
IT background, with really good understanding of security processes
Just passionate about security!

Engage with client CISOs
Understand and document what our clients do - and figure out what they should do
