Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Data capabilities to teams in supported verticals, provide services listed in the catalogue, drive adoption of Global standards, and implementation of common toolsets
• Manage technical delivery projects working with global partners
• Analyse existing practices/tools for reuse
• Build and implement solutions were non-existent
• Partner with vendors and support functions to deliver solutions
• Provide project estimates other resource planning

KPIs

• Increase in time to market for software delivery adopting the tools and standards
• Decrease in data risk after adoption of Synthetic Data
• Improved developer experience
• Faster cloud native more agile software delivery

Technical / job functional knowledge

The following are critical functional requirements for the role:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are Firm wide with broad impact
• Contribute to developing standards and Firm best practices for large scale data and technology solutions
• Design, code, and test for projects and programs
• 2+ years of Software Engineering and implementation experience
• 2+ years of experience writing SQL Server relational database queries
• Experience in microservices development and CI/CD pipelines

Leadership and management experience

Experience in demonstrating technical and strategic leadership advantageous

Personal skills and capabilities

The role will also involve a substantial amount of consultation, program planning/managing and communication with a wide variety of audiences in a number of formats, summarised below:

• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with wider teams within organization
• Be a confident self-starter able to quickly investigate and learn unfamiliar processes, subsequently documenting and presenting recommended approaches based upon findings
• Be capable of presenting with technical teams
