QV Lead Tester (remote)

The next great EA QV Test Lead needs:

· At least 2 years’ previous experience as Senior Tester/Quality Analyst or equivalent roles

· Junior project and people management skills

· Strong MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.

· Proven experience of successfully leading within a distributed multi-site environment

· Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, software development processes and technical understanding of game elements.

· Excellent English communication skills

What a QV Test Lead does at EA:

The QV Test Lead is accountable for setting up and managing the daily testing tasks for local testing staff on assigned projects, provides informal mentoring and support for local testing staff in order to aid knowledge transfer and maintain sufficient skill-levels among all testing teams.

As a QV Test Lead your primary focus will be working with line manager to identify and implement best practice to ensure that effective and consistent testing methodologies are applied across different projects. You will contribute to the development of materials of the training and education of testers – placing a particular emphasis on test quality, reporting data and analysis.

You will also spend time publishing regular testing reports, analysis, and process documentation as required by the management team. Working with the relevant QV management to ensure that an accurate workload forecast is submitted.

Additionally, you will work with Associate Development Managers to assess impact of analysis for any project design changes; with regular and frequent communication to partner teams.

You will participate in QV initiatives to drive greater collaboration and standardization between all regional specialized QV teams.

This opportunity is a contractor role working for Electronic Arts Romania hired through Smartree for 12 months.
