Optical Measurements Engineer for HMI (TM)

* Take on the responsibility for preparing optical measurement setups;
* Schedule and perform photometric and colorimetric measurements on display products and components;
* Analyze the measurement data;
* Document measurement setup, parameters and results;
* Create measurement reports;
* Support international project teams by presenting measurement results and conclusions;
* Cooperate and align with international laboratories of other locations;
* Be responsible for implementation of a maintenance and calibration plan of equipment.

Job Requirements:
This is what it takes to be a successful in Optical Measurements Engineer:

* University Degree in an engineering field of physics or comparable field of study;
* Experience in optical measurements would be a plus;
* Good knowledge about photometric and colorimetric quantities and their measurement methods;
* Knowledge of specific optical components and technologies (e.g. displays, optical films, LEDs.);
* Team player, willing to offer and receive support;
* Capability to analyze technical problems;
* Capability to take initiative;
* Fluent in English, German is a plus;
* Very good communication skills.
