University degree in information technology or comparable education;
3+ years of QA experience;
End-to-end testing experience;
Cross-device/cross-platform testing experience is a plus;
Good knowledge of Retail business is a plus;
Knowledge of writing test cases based on requirements;
Experience executing functional tests;
Experience writing failure reports;
Strong QA skills (troubleshooting, bug isolation and reporting, good understanding of testing concepts, methodologies and processes);
ISTQB testing terminology (any certification would be valuable);
Experience in working with test case management tools/bug tracking tools;
Strong analytical skills;
Experience working in an Agile team;
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Good knowledge in spoken German (A2-B1).

Develop and maintain test cases, test data and expected results;
Derive test conditions and expected results from requirements & user stories;
Ensure the Test Conditions and Expected Results are complete and accurate;
Conduct peer review sessions according to the test schedule and benchmark standards;
Execute test case flows and where necessary create failure reports;
Review test cases and test data;
Support test execution;
Coordinate internal and external test resources through testing sprints;
Monitoring of test progress withing testing sprints.

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the creation, execution and documentation of the tests necessary to ensure that application and technical environment meets highest level of quality (technical and functional) and freedom from defects.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will also ensure that all test effort is effectively planned, monitored and executed and that core activities required by the Testing Framework are completed in a structured, consistent manner.
S/he ensures that quality standards are met and adhered to by using their knowledge and quality assurance methods, tools and techniques. The role will resolve, document, and report to management quality problems that arise.
S/he is also responsible for support and optimization of test management process and Software Quality.
