    Environment, Health and Safety Specialist/Manager

    Purpose of the role
    o Ensures the application of the legislative regulations in force and the norms regarding the prevention of the risks of fires and other risks, occupational safety, protection of employees' health and protection of the environment;
    o Providing consultancy in this regard; elaboration of related work safety instructions

    Main responsibilities
    o Design of specific policies and local procedures, using subject matter expertise and knowledge to help roll out appropriate documentation to assist in the protection of staff, contractors, visitors and clients
    o Collaborate with our external providers on EHS matters
    o Complete, document and submit all required EHS reports and recordkeeping information.
    o Ensure that all site personnel and employees are instructed of site safe working procedures and practices. In charge with updating the EHS booklets
    o Responsible for leading all related EHS activities to support local team
    o Participate in / conduct EHS inspections and audits
    o Support incident investigation activities, root cause analysis, corrective action identification and closure.
    o Evaluate risk associated with business opportunities and contractual obligations, from EHS perspective
    o Act as company's representative in EHS matters in relation with the relevant authorities
    o Collaborates transversally with all internal entities for domain management for which it is responsible for all its components: data, information, documents / documentation, reports / reports, actions, projects, specific activities
    o Ensures compliance with legislation in terms of waste management
    o Proposes general, specific environmental objectives, depending on the aspects significant environmental impact
    o Ensures the environmental records characteristic of the activities carried out regarding monitoring of environmental factors
    o Contributes to the promotion, understanding, learning of the requirements in the field by others participants in the processes and flows for the purpose (internal), providing all the necessary support Labor protection
    o Ensures the implementation in legal terms of the data / actions related to HS legislation
    o Provides the required documents for ISU, Environment, ITM controls.
    o Elaborates the documents specific to the activity in the field of emergency situations,
    o Controls the observance of prevention measures,
    o Elaborates and updates the prevention and protection plan;
    o Develops related instructions for safety and health at work, taking into account particularities of activities and jobs / jobs;
    o Elaborates the topic for all training phases, establishes the periodicity appropriate for each job,
    o Ensures the preparation of the action plan in case of serious and imminent danger;
    o Train employees in the field of emergencies
    o Follows the implementation of the measures ordered by the labor inspectors, on the occasion control visits and event research;
    o Organizes the activity in the field of emergency situations

    ? Prepares non-financial sustainability reports


    Requirements:
    o Bachelor Degree from an accredited university, preferably Engineering related field
    o Experience in the field management of the environmental aspects
    o Experience working in an EHS role (at least 2 years)
    o Knowledge of safety regulatory requirements, mandatory Romanian EHS certificates
    o SSM certification - for Internal service manager
    o Other related certifications (PSI, first aid, Environmental etc.)
    o Experience working in cross-functional teams
    o Good analytical and multitasking skills
    o Experience in maintaining relationships with facility providers
    o Strong written and verbal English essential
    o Microsoft Office
