    Learning and Development Manager This role is a combination of strategic and hands on activities and requires someone who can build trust and confidence in our organization to embed strategic approach to human resources development and management. Main responsibilities include: Leadership and Teamwork

    • Leads and manages the L&D team, ensuring that the team members have clear priorities and direction and are motivated.
    • Gives regular feedback and offers coaching to the team in order to develop their skills and capabilities. Shares knowledge and experience within the team.
    • Optimize and continually develop relationships with other People Ops management team members and colleagues in order to provide pro-active support to the business.
    • Leads by personal example, lives and promotes the company’s values in all activities
    • Provides expert advice and gives support to line managers.
    Planning & Managing resources
    • To build and champion a consistent global/local learning and development strategy that develops the capability and talent needed in our business align with our current and future business strategy.
    • Manage the identification of internal talent, succession planning process, leadership development, Amber Academy Professional Curriculum, Performance management process and the development of our high potentials.
    • Ensures appropriate contracting of vendors based on the company objectives, policies, and legal requirements. Oversees contracts roll-out and continual improvements of them; oversees the client assessment process, the development of individualized living plans and the entire service delivery system.
    • Manage the entire L&D budget and its execution at global level
    Innovation and Change
    • Ensures that the resourcing and learning & development processes are effective and in line with global plans.
    • Ensure that we are effectively managing any changes to processes and systems.
    • Looks for opportunities to streamline our learning processes to respond to business needs and provides a great employee experience (local/global)
    • Works with the team to develop innovative approaches to development.

    • 3-5 years in a similar managerial position
    • Strong relationship management and consultancy skills
    • Strong feedback, coaching and facilitation skills
    • Ability to work with both the big picture and also the operational detail
    • International experience and cross-cultural sensitivity
    • Strong English and Romanian language skills
