Transportation Service Coordinator

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Transportation, Business, Economics, Data science, Cybernetics, Statistics or equivalent preferred
• 2 to 3 years experience in a a Supply Chain role like Logistics or Planning is an advantage
• Internship or volunteering experience in Supply Chain area would represent an advantage
• Self-starter who is goal-oriented, highly motivated and also able to follow instructions
• Structured and analytical with superior attention to details and excellent prioritization skills
• Strong desire to take initiative, result-oriented and willing to take matters in his own hands
• Enthusiastic and passionate about Supply Chains or transportation industry.
• Prior experience in working with MS Excel
• Knowledge of Power BI programing is an advantage
• Very good command of spoken and written English

• Supervises the transport operations performed by the approved suppliers
• Proactively tackles the day to day transport operational issues – 1st point of contact;
• Coordinates with other departments and external suppliers solution finding
• Identifies opportunities to optimize service and transportation cost
• Ensures that all transport costs invoiced are according to contractual or other relevant agreements
• Validates final transport invoice
• Responsible for data processing in SAP (PO, Shipment Cost Documents);
• Generates relevant analysis based on data modeling to either support improvement initiatives or root-cause service impactors
• Coordinates projects in the area of transportation
• Ensures that Nestlé procedures governing transportation operations are followed;
• Revises and updates the working procedures in accordance with the evolution of operations;
