Welding Engineer

PROCER is a Romanian leading technical staffing agency in Central-Eastern Europe, specialized in providing experienced engineers and technicians for IT, Industrial Automation, Oil & Energy, Onshore/Offshore, Marine and related industries.

Degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or material
Basic knowledge of materials grade
Basic experience in welding process: MIG-MAG, TIG, SAW, SMAW
Basic experience of weld defect and not destructive technics: LP, UT, MT, RT
Basic experience of welding process and welder qualifications
Knowledge of the quality procedures and work instruction as requested by EN 3834-2
Documented Experience of quality control and tests NDT
Organization capability and coordination of the operative person in the Special Process department
Knowledge of the execution and control of the welds.

Could be an advantage:
Welding Engineer Diploma
Experience in the use of the following rules: ENISO, ASME CODEs
Basic experience of design code: EN 13445
Qualification for execution of NDT as per EN 9712 level 2
12 months of experience in production or quality in company that produce Pressure Vessel or Piping Systems

Knowledge
MS OFFICE package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook and Teams
Good English skills
Italian skills can be an advantage

Will issue the continuous update of the PQR (Procedure Specification Record), the issue of the WFS (Welding Procedure Specification) as per the technical documentation received from the engineering team.
Issue all the welding documentation necessary for the materials acquisition.
Assure the checking and authorization of the external NDT reports.
Assure the correct integration of the welding process mandatory checks in the QCP of the product (Quality Control Plan)
Follow and instruct the welders on daily basis
Check, maintain and assure correct deposit, input and output of the welding consumables.
