TELEMATICS Engineer

Responsibilities:

Software development and unit testing following the project's specifications in the Telematics area

Defining the project requirements according to the customer feature requests;

Cooperation with the department of System Engineering, SW integration team and SW development teams;

Reviewing the following activities: unit testing, coding, design;

Required Skills:

Experience in SW development in Automotive Telematics domain

Strong embedded software development know-how (5+ years) under C++

SW Development under Linux environment experience, including kernel knowledge

Knowledge in inter-process communication, multi-threading, socket communication

Experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Connectivity protocols (Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G/4G)
• SW Update-Over-The-Air
• Diagnosis (UDS/KWP2000 protocols)
• CyberSecurity

Experience with tools like Enterprise Architect or Microsoft Visio

Capability to analyze problems and to develop appropriate solutions

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Telecommunications or similar
Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken

Preferred Skills:

Experience with TCP/UDP protocols

Knowledge and experience with data communication and diagnosis protocols (CAN, LIN, Flexray, Eth, UDS)

Experience with Vector toolchains: CANoe, CANanalyzer, etc.

Capability to recognize weak points, risks and dependencies
