Test Manager

We have expertise in multiple capabilities across Business Operations (Systems Delivery & Modernization, Cloud & Engineering, Operations Transformation), Customer & Marketing (Marketing & Commerce, Digital Customer, Digital Foundry & Operations), Enterprise Tech & Performance (SAP, ServiceNow, Anaplan), Human Capital (HR Transformation, Organizational Transformation), and Strategy, Analytics and M&A (Data Modernization & Analytics, AI Insights and Engagement).

• Experience with functional system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing or non-functional testing including automation (at least one)
• Experience with data analysis techniques and data integration projects
• Experience in developing strategies, test plans, and test cases specific to data integration/ Data Visualization
• Advanced skills with SQL queries, stored procedures, and test scripting to delete, define, load, and merge data for tests
• Understanding of automated testing for ETL processes and other source-to-target verifications
• The ability to communicate effectively with data engineers, database designers, and developers
• A good awareness of the role that testing tools play in the software development lifecycle, the types of tools and where it is appropriate and useful to apply them

Additional desirable experience includes:

• A proven track record in a top tier consultancy
• Exposure to test automation tools, such as Selenium or Cucumber
• Ability to design and implement test automation frameworks
• ISTQB Foundation Level certificate (or equivalent experience)
• ISTQB Certified Agile Tester qualification
• Experience in administering a test management tool (e.g., HP ALM, Zephyr)
• Experience testing multiple DB systems, (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL)
• Troubleshooting of ETL (e.g., Informatica/DataStage) sessions, workflows, and logs
• The ability to deploy database code to test environments
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and a variety of data quality verification tools

• Defining test strategies for large and complex test delivery
• Providing advice on testing tools and leveraging them effectively within a testing activity
• Reviewing test practices and coaching the team on improvement opportunities
• Managing test delivery, ensuring the testing meets quality, time and cost objectives
• Working with key stakeholders at the client, building strong trusted relationships
