Technical Documentation Engineer

ALTEN Romania, part of the international ALTEN Group - with a unique position as Leader in IT & Engineering Consulting, provides support for its clients’ development strategies in the fields of innovation, R&D and IT systems since 1996. The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

•1-5 years of experience in a similar position;
•Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Faculty of Mechanics / AR / Electronics);
•Knowledge of English at an intermediate or advanced level, French (would be a plus).
•Work experience with MS Office (MS Word; Excel; Outlook) SIGNS or TCS;
•Having pilotage capacity (activity management, good communication, synthesis capacity, reactivity);
•Ability to analyze and synthesize;
•Organization and time management skills.

A typical day might include the following:

•Checking and updating the databases used in engineering, ensuring their correctness and coherence;
•Creating references of parts and nomenclatures for the standardization of the activity of the engineers within the vehicle engineering department, but also of other departments within the Group;
•Updating the documentation concerning the evolution of the pursued product;
•Archiving the technical documents, making sure to be easily accessed by the interested persons;
•Communicating efficiently with suppliers and customers involved in the documentation process within the entrusted projects.
