DevOps - 8 months paid Internship, Portugal-Porto

About i2S i2S software products implement best practices in managing life and non-life insurance businesses. We help insurers to reduce costs, to react promptly to market changes and to create competitive advantages via a reliable, consistent and positive insurance software experience.

Set up a Jenkins as code in Kubernetes. Currently, the DevOps team has two Jenkins in order to coordinate all the continuous integration and continuous deployment jobs from the different internal repositories/environments. The compilation jobs (JAVA, NPM, Docker, ...) currently run on virtual machines. The aim of this internship is to study/evaluate the possibility of having more jobs compiling at the same time (cluster) and in isolation (docker). Skills: Linux, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.

Age:18-30
Salary: 900 EUR per month
Opportunity fee: 250.000 EUR (ONLY if you are accepted by the company)
Working hours

• Monday to Friday, 09:00am - 6:00pm

• Improve the performance of current build jobs.
• Create a configurable Jenkins on kubernetes; analyse the performance/scalability of running the build jobs (on cluster) and compare with the existing infrastructure
