System Configuration Manager for VNI CVS (TM)

As a System Configuration Manager you will be involved in the development of concepts/system in the Business Unit CVS VNI for the location Timisoara. The CM function supports the product development activity so that developers and integrators have appropriate workspaces to build and test their work effectively.

* Responsible for setting up the tools required for the project (in coordination with other team members);
* Responsible for the creation and administration of the main discipline-related document (CM Plan) and maintenance of other documents (Work Product List);
* Planning of additional, project-specific milestones (Baselines) in coordination with the SY PM;
* Monitoring of the document status and the correct labeling (naming) of all Configuration Items;
* Responsible for organizing the review of a new Baseline as well as for its release;
* Responsible for the integration of the external stakeholders in the Configuration Management process (granting access rights and informing regarding various procedures);
* Maintenance of Work Product List (keeping track of new Work Products and adding CM relevant information);
* Supporting the team members who work on the project in what concerns the CM process: basic tool and procedures guidance/training;
* Planning of the tasks for the Work Breakdown Structure and tracking of the efforts in coordination with the SY PM;

This is what it takes to be a successful System Configuration Manager:

* University Degree (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent technical discipline);
* Technical overview and experience;
* Experience in the field of "Configuration Management";
* Self-efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks and projects;
* Team player with an open minded attitude;
* Good analytical thinking and ability to adapt easily to various situations;
* Basic Knowledge about Project Management and Project Management tools;
* Basic Knowledge knowledge regarding development processes and standards (e.g. V-Cycle, Automotive Spice)
* Very good verbal and written communication skills in English and native language;
* Travel readiness;

Would be a plus

* Experience in the automotive industry
* Experience regarding the tools which support Configuration Management discipline e.g. GitHub, MKS
* Knowledge of ISO26262 Standard
* ITIL Certificates would be an advantage Note: Candidates with experience in fields such as embedded programming, hardware design or writing communication protocols who wish to start learning Configuration Management will be also considered.
