Has minimum Electrical & Power Engineering Bachelor degree
Has minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Electrical Substation design
Understands design of primary electrical plant in transmission and distribution substations and has good knowledge of HV systems Substation Equipment, Fittings and Assemblies for HV conductors (Compression join bolted assemblies & bolted Tee Clamps / Dropper supports / Conductor Spacers & Earth Stirrups / Adaptor Plates / Earthing Termination / Fittings for Tubular busbars / Terminal Palms)
Understands design and operation of modern protection relay technology and substation automation and its application;
Ability to conduct and/or evaluate power systems from a load flow, stability and fault level perspective;
Ability to produce conceptual as well as detailed designs for Integrated Control and Protection systems based on client specified technical requirements; and
Ability to interact with internal and external parties.
Advanced knowledge of following software: MS Office, AutoCAD 2D& 3D, Microstation, REVIT, ETAP, EPLAN
Proficient in English
Producing and checking drawings for each stage of the project for HV and MV Substations: Single Line Diagrams, Control Diagrams, Electrical Equipment Layouts & Sections, Cable Routing and Routing Crossections, Earthing and Lightning Layouts
Performing and checking design calculations reports (Substation Lightning Calculation Report, Switchyard lighting intensity level study report, Earth system design and study report, Cable sizing
Performing and checking Material Schedule, BOM and BOQs
Producing equipment specification or technical data sheet for procurement purpose
Presenting electrical installations in 3D model
Preparing a civil/structural interface document, make sure all relevant electrical clearances have been met.
