Senior DFT Engineer

Adecco Permanent Placement is recruiting for one of its clients, one of the world’s largest and independent managed services provider of quality assurance and testing solutions, a QA Automation Developer with JS, to help design and deliver automation tests for new features, ETE and API tests.

The testing is focused on End-to-End test in a JavaScript based framework of the web product, in an agile and friendly environment.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop Automation tests for new features, ETE and API tests.
• Maintain existing code.
• Improve tests performance and stability.
• Work closely with the Scrum team: Developers, Product Manager and QA Engineers to ensure a successful release.
• Set up tests on Jenkins for new features.
• If required add Powershell scripts.
• Actively share knowledge with team members on techniques and technologies of modern software development.

• At least 4 years of experience in QA Automation (End to End and API tests)
• Experience with cloud technologies and testing of cloud services
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript programming language
• Automation testing framework – such as Protractor, Cypress or other
• Good knowledge in Git – the source control that holds the tests
• User experience of working with Jenkins – the main framework that runs the tests
• User experience and knowledge in networks – some tests are conducted on multi-machine environment
• Good communication and presentation skills Nice to have:
• User experience and knowledge of working with virtual environments, like ESXI – this is the “hardware” that run the tests
• Good knowledge of scripting within Windows environment (CMD and PowerShell)
• Knowledge in configuring Windows.
