Customs Associate (Temporary, 1 year)

Who are we looking for:
-Education: Bachelor’s Degree;
-Work experience: minimum 2-years of experience in a similar position;
-Language: English - very good (speaking and writing);

Others:
-Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP knowledge is nice to have ;
-Custom & Fiscal regulations knowledge - considered a plus;
-Experience in working with customs applications (EMCS, RCDPS, INCOTERMS 2010) - considered a plus;
-Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
-Good understanding of import/export activities
-Driving License (B)

What will you do:

-Organize daily import & export activities: liaise with internal departments (Finance, Planning & Purchasing, Customer Service) and external parties (customs brokers, transport providers, customs authorities, Chamber of Commerce, Phytosanitary Authorities) to ensure correct customs clearance of goods;
-Organize activities for the destruction of non-compliant manufactured tobacco products under the Customs’ supervision, in line with the fiscal legislation
-Ensure the correct application of special Customs regimes. Monitor goods and collect support documentation
-Ensure the completeness of export procedures by monitoring the closure of export declarations and electronic accompanying documents once goods exit the European Union territory.
