Software Engineer

This is an entry level Python developer role initially responsible for automation within the World Check product research team. This individual will work closely with research analysts to determine efficient processes and apply automation methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with researchers, and data teams on python code, to facilitate troubleshooting and handle automation implementation requests.

• Help implement web data extraction requests and build source monitoring tools.

• Help develop new data pipelines, over time take additional responsibilities in one or more of other team activities, such as data preprocessing.

To be successful in this role, we would like you to have at least 2 years' proven experience with the following:

• Expertise in Python programming language

• Experience with data wrangling and creating data pipelines in Python is strongly desired.

• Experience in developing web data extraction tools in Python.

• Experience programmatically interacting with APIs

• Interest in data science and research are a strong plus.

• Experience of source controls, GIT.

• Experience in following technologies will be an added advantage
