Education: Master diploma in Mathematics / Computer Science / Business Informatics;

Experience: >9 years in Data Science / Analytics, Data Engineering;

English language: Advanced level;

Excellent knowledge of business procedures and processes in respective area and latest technical trends / solutions;

Technical expertise with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python /Java / C++ /Scala, etc.;

Practical cloud experience, Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure ML Services etc.) is preferred;

Advanced experience with data pipeline, workflow management and stream-processing systems tools;

Advanced programming skills such as Hadoop MapReduce or other big data frameworks, Java and statistical modelling like SAS tableau or R;

Advanced expertise in working with tolls like: Power BI, Spotfire or Tableau;

Advanced expertise working with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra

Works with the business stakeholders to identify what the business requirements are and the expected outcome. Models and frames business scenarios that are meaningful and which impact on critical business processes and/or decisions;

Identifies what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources, leveraging new data collection processes such as smart meters and geo-location information or social media;

Ensures that the information used follows the compliance, access management and control policies of the organization and that it meets the qualification and assurance requirements of the business;

Includes experimental design approaches to validate findings by comparing appropriate samples;

Suggests ongoing improvements to methods and algorithms that lead to findings, including new information. Understands the use and ability to employ the appropriate algorithm to discover patterns;

Educates the organization both from IT and the business perspectives on these new approaches, such as testing hypotheses and statistical validation of result.;

Creates hypotheses and experiments to identify hidden relationships and construct new analytics methods;

Researches bleeding-edge techniques and tools in machine learning/deep learning/artificial intelligence;

Responsible for building, managing and optimizing data pipelines in the client organization;

Responsible for technical solutions where the data consistency or quality is at risk (AI implementations, PowerApps, etc).

Creates processes for injection / transformation (ELT Extract, Load and Transform) of different sources into an existing DataLake on a cloud platform using Data Factory / Databricks

The Senior Data Science & Analytics is responsible for delivery of relevant software development services based on defined technical specifications, prepare the source code and assembly of all relevant software components, including internal testing and validation in order to ensure complete adherence to technical specifications.
