Information Security Consultant

5+ years of IT security experience, preferably within a range of disciplines (e.g. Endpoint, Network Security, Cloud, AppSec, etc.)
Knowledgeable understanding of multi-domain space across Cybersecurity and Information Technology.
Ability to assess and quickly understand new technologies for potential application into security controls.
Public speaking skills specific in hosting and organizing information and knowledge sharing meetings.
Knowledgeable or able to learn new technologies within both Cybersecurity and other IT domains.
Hands on experience with a wide range of technologies, security tools, cloud based, on premise, endpoint, dev and hardware.
Demonstrated technical expertise in existing security and IT systems, and an ability to keep pace with changing security and IT technologies.
Experience with DevSecOps and Agile Methodologies along with experience with third-party Cloud security tools.
Experience with scripting languages and/or programming in JSON, JavaScript, CSS, Perl or Python or PHP or Bash.
Strong interpersonal, verbal presentation and written communication skills along with the ability to work independently.
Possess or desire to grow networking skills beyond the enterprise employees.
Highly collaborative skills with the ability to interface with various stakeholders, utilizing consulting and negotiating skills.
Familiar with architecture practices and procedures.
Basic familiarity or high interest of venture investment business and entrepreneurship in regards to Cybersecurity technologies.
Understanding of Cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST CSF) and compliance/regulatory requirements (e.g. SOC, PCI, GDPR).
Strategic approach to problem solving.
Knowledgeable of Agile based practices and SDLC.

Perform early-stage testing of Cyber technologies in demo or test environments.
Reporting and documenting vendors, technologies and Cyber capabilities.
Organize and manage technology learning and information sharing sessions.
Research and stay well-informed of current and emerging security threats and security controls design to mitigate.
Rationalize capabilities across multiple technologies.
Provide consultative feedback and support to all Cyber programs.
Interact with technology vendors to assess capabilities.
