VAT Accountant (Junior role)

We have an opportunity for a VAT Accountant role to join our Corporate team in Bucharest.

Qualifications:

Basic accounting knowledge
English is a must – medium level
Excel – medium level
Good Communication skills
AP may be a plus
Proactive approach

Responsibilities:

Monthly data extraction of VAT date to be submitted.
Reconciliation of the VAT GL accounts and records
Document verification
Accounting clearing and reclassification on VAT GLs
Maintains the accuracy of VAT transactions on the accounting systems
Ensures compliance with the FOM and Accounting Policies
Drives standardization in one country
May support VAT Specialist and VAT Accountant as per the team’s needs
