The Finance team of TELUS International Europe Romania is a fully-fledged finance division of TELUS International. The division consists of professionals (located in Bucharest and Sofia) with combined finance and accounting expertise. Our financials are audited by a Big 4 auditor, we partner with 4 large international banks and operate in a global company with a footprint on 3 continents.
What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
University degree in Accounting and/or Finance Accounting experience - minimum 1 year in a similar role
Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
Good English knowledge
Organized and reliable person, willing to learn fast
Team player and flexible personality
The role will report directly to the Chief Accountant in Romania and will combine financial and accounting responsibilities:
Manage the petty cash and all the related documents
Daily checking and booking all the cash documents and expense reports documents
Daily preparing the petty cash daily register
Weekly checking of the employees advances report, asking for related documents
Monthly payroll confirmations for cash salaries advances
Reconciliation of the employees advances
Bank statements postings in Workday
Printing and archiving primary accounting documents
Back-up in AR and AP accounting related activities
Participation to Annual Audit process
Participates in month-end closing process
