    QUALITY COORDINATOR
    LOCATION: Bucharest, Romania

    Our client, a production company, is looking for a Quality Coordinator to ensure the implementation and compliance with all ISO quality standards, supervising the activity of quality controllers in production. Our client produces a wide variety of plastic packaging products and relies on identifying and escalating any risks related to the factory quality system that could disrupt / delay objectives or affect the quality system.

    ROLE: We are searching for a Quality Coordinator to develop and support the quality management system in accordance with the required standards (including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FS / ISO 22000) and to prepare and maintain the quality management documentation and procedures, as well as ensuring their proper implementation. The Quality Coordinator will carry out periodic inspections and reviews in the production unit as well as other responsibilities:

    • Implements and ensures compliance with quality procedures as well as occupational safety rules in production, warehouse, and offices
    • Ensures compliance of quality standards throughout the supply chain (both at the level of raw materials and the finished product)
    • Investigates and applies quality corrective actions with direct responsibility in the management of complaints
    • Participates in operational excellence initiatives and projects to ensure a culture of continuous improvement and achievement of operational objectives (including 5S, 8D, FMEA)
    • Evaluates operating processes and participates in internal quality assurance
    • Cooperates in identifying and developing suggestions for improvement
    • Organizes and supervises quality internal audits and maintains the relationship with external auditors (clients and / or certification / recertification bodies)
    THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate must fill the following criteria:
    • Excellent decision-making, organizing and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of ISO quality management systems, HACCP, as well as Lean, Six Sigma (the latter not required)
    • Higher education - technical studies
    • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a position of Quality Specialist or Coordinator in a production unit working with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000 / FS systems
    • Solid knowledge of understanding the legislation and norms regarding non-food and food quality standards (HACCP, BRC)
    • Attention to detail and the ability to concentrate for long periods of time to ensure that the factory complies with the Quality Management system
    • Ability to work both in an office and production environment
    • Results-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
    • English Language - advanced level
    • Good knowledge of MS Office
