Design Technician

Qualifications:
Computer Aided Design (CAD) capability – AutoCAD and SolidWorks
English proficiency.
Relevant experience 2D/3D design is necessary
Strong collaboration and interdependence skills both within design, multi-functional partners and external creative agencies.
Outstanding listening skills with a view to understanding and anticipating the needs.
Project management skills, ability to lead multiple initiatives and handle complexity with confidence.
Accountable from concept to final design delivery.
Flexibility in an environment of constant change.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Develop 2D and 3D layouts for equipment, facilities and components.
Coordinate design inputs.
Lead 3D Building Information Management (BIM) system and resolve conflicts.
Lead technical data workflow into documentation systems
Perform field verification of as builds and check field conditions.
Participate in design reviews and produce drawings and models as required to evaluate alternative options.
Design and develop products with a keen understanding of the human factors and end user needs.
Galvanize support for your ideas through strong influencing and communication skills.
Be accountable for excellent execution.
