Education and Experience Required:

•First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.

•Typically, 10-15 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain.

•Deep knowledge of EMEA surface transportation network (LTL/ FTL/ parcel), warehousing and brokerage services.

•Adept at negotiation of logistics commercials, contractual agreements and relationship building.

•Strong in Data / Excel Skills

Responsibilities:


•Part of our Global Logistics Sourcing team as our Logistics sourcing champion for EMEA region.

•Creates supply chain value in service, cost and innovation by partnering and sourcing best-in-class logistics services.

•Responsible for optimizing cost of our logistics services in Surface transportation/ last-mile, Warehousing and Brokerage service and manage & contain significant financial spend budget for EMEA region.

•Independently drives and executes HPE’s logistics sourcing initiatives - multiple RFPs/ tenders/ contract negotiations in a year.

•Creates multi-year strategies for logistics network optimization across multiple stakeholders.

•Evaluate key market drivers of logistics cost & services and publish EMEA logistics market intelligence on a regular basis.

•Builds strategic relationships and actively partners with multiple internal and external stakeholders and/or suppliers at the VP and SVP level on a regular basis.

•Collaborates with peers in multi-modal, cross-region synergies.
