Senior Software Tester - Technical Lead

Miele este prezentă în Brașov din anul 2009 cu o fabrică de producție ce asigură grupului necesarul de componente electronice şi subansambluri pentru unităţile de control ale aparatelor electrocasnice inteligente și cu un departament de Dezvoltare Software si Hardware în cadrul căruia sunt realizate programe software pentru o gamă variată de electrocasnice și produse profesionale Miele.

Job requirements:

• Experience of at least 5 years in applying the software development and testing methodology: functional, non-functional, regression, smoke testing, exploratory testing
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in scenario design and testing strategy
• Experience with platforms such as APIs or UX (iOS, Android, Windows, etc.), development based on testing and software versioning / configuration systems
• Advanced knowledge of software programming: OOP (C # or Python)
• Experience in testing frameworks such as: Selenium, Appium WebDriver, Pytest, Xamarin UI test is a plus
• Team Leader experience at least year
• Proactive attitude for team results
• Experience in evaluating employee performance and guiding them in career development

• Good communicator and presenter for technical as well as non-technical audiences

Education:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Business Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Knowledge and skills:

• Knowledge of platforms such as APIs or UX (iOS, Android, Windows, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of software programming: OOP (C # or Python)
• Testing frameworks such as: Selenium, Appium WebDriver, Pytest, Xamarin UI test is a plus
• English language (at least CEFR level B2)

Your responsibilities will include:
• Defines the technical architecture strategy, ensures their implementation within the project and is responsible for the quality of the project
• Ensures the definition of technical objectives in the project and the team
• Proactively provides technical guidance and organizes technical workshops
• Evaluates the technical performance of team members and participate in the technical evaluation for the recruitment process
• Decide on the scope of the necessary test equipment (measuring hardware and software)
• Develops acceptance criteria in collaboration with Product Owner and development team
• Review old and new software versions, participates in, or conducts agile ceremonies
• Develops complex test software modules for automation and ensures alignment with the Global Software architecture
• Detects very complex errors of the testing system in the general context of the architecture at an early stage and takes appropriate measures.
• Evaluates complex measurement data in terms of deviations from defined target values, discrepancies from defined tolerance values and their plausibility
• Applies and develops exploratory testing methods
• Automates complex repetitive testing methods and continues to develop automation tools
• Analyzes requirements for the testing process and testing tools and continues to develop standards
• Masters standard market and domestic testing methods and is responsible for their further development
• Actively participates in CoP rounds
