Local Controller Toulouse - CSC - TSR

Job description:

As a Local Controller within Controlling Service Center Timisoara you will be responsible for performing Month End, Budget and Forecast activities for Business Unit Passive Safety and Sensorics segments located in Toulouse. Your main tasks will be the following:

* Month End Closing activities;
* Deviation Reporting and Analysis Actual vs Budget for EBIT and Balance Sheet;
* Headcount Reporting;
* Accrual of commitments (External Services, Leasing, Logistics, Sales related);
* Invest tracking and maintenance in the reporting tool;
* Tracking & invoice with other Continental locations; Cost Center:
* Budget/ Forecast Planning and input: Costs, Headcount;
* Follow-up with Cost Center owners on monthly booked costs and performing re-bookings where requested;
* Forecast and alignment meetings with cost center owners;
* Monthly cost center reporting;
* Local Project Support in SAP;
* Creation and project structure update of WBS Elements in local SAP;
* Follow-up with Purchasing for closing old commitments / purchase orders;
* Projects settlement error Status Reporting and Follow-up with Project managers;
* CEOS Approval;
* CEOS shopping cart controlling and approval;
* Follow-up with Project Managers regarding orders and Budget status;
* Invest Controlling;
* Capital Request approval and plausibilization (Workflow, Contents, Responsibilities);
* Invest Reporting tool maintenance (Obligo follow-up, Forecast and Budget planning);
* Investment Status Reporting to Cost Center & Project responsible.

Job requirements:

* University or Master's degree in Finance / Economics / Economical Engineering;
* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and financial principles;
* English Advanced skills for writing, reading and speaking;
* French Advanced skills appreciated;
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge on Data Management tools (e.g. Power Bi);
* SAP and SAP Business Warehouse experience preferred;
* Confident communication and presentation skills;
* Good analytical, problem solving and decision making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues;
* Ability to work in a team environment.
