CAD / CAM Engineer

To be successful in this role, we believe you should meet the following requirements:

- Completed higher education in the technical field
- Good skills in technical drawing
- AutoCAD 2D operating knowledge - mandatory
- Basic CAM knowledge, functionalities, concept understanding (UCAM knowledge is an advantage)
- Basic knowledge of the electronics industry, design or manufacturability.
- Ability to work to instruction and integrate into a successful engineering team
- Problem solving skills
- Good English is required.

Your involvement will be in :

- Processing and organising CAD Data
- Ability to interpret customer requirements & communicate with the team
- Ability to perform tasks within team, provide guidance, manage hours & provide feedback
- Produce designs that are suitable for cost effective manufacture
- Creation of different CAD formats as required: 2D drawing or/and 3D illustrations/exploded views/isometric views
- Producing hard copy drawings for supporting modelshop
- Liaison and working closely with other departments, to deliver parts for on time delivery
- Problem solving through structured methodologies
- Contributing to process improvement & implementing
- Production of technical presentation material
- Liaise/attend meetings with all departments, customers and suppliers as required
